Who

The editors are two ladies who happen to share parents…

Maggie Scott is a writer. There, she said it. She has freelanced in everything from reviews and guides, to art catalogue appraisals, to doctoring masters’ theses and fixin’ CVs. She knows how to give good copy and hopefully helpful feedback.

She taught Writing and Pop Culture subjects at RMIT and was a features and documentaries panelist for MIFF from 2010-2012.

She recently co-edited and contributed to Just Between Us, an anthology about female friendships published by Pan Macmillan in April 2013.

Maggie is also a film buff who loves spoilers. Just saying. You can read some of her other online spoilers here and here.

Jessie Scott is a video artist, programmer and producer who works across the spectrum of screen culture in Melbourne.

She is a founding member of audiovisual art collective, Tape Projects, has been a preview panellist for the Melbourne Film Festival, a regular contributor to Screen Machine, and in 2009 completed an Australia Council funded internship in San Francisco with Wholphin DVD.

Her practice has extended to community based film making with the Australian Centre for the Moving Image and the Barkly Arts Centre in Footscray.
